Mary Kay IS how you make it! DON'T get an overload of inventory if you are not comfortable with that amount! I don't care WHAT your consultant says NOR how many prizes are offered for getting $3000 in inventory! I came from a meeting and COULD NOT STAND IT! The cattiness and the fakeness all night was nauseating! Fake smiles, rolling eyes, it was
very nauseating! Do any of you sell to people who already have a consultant if they need it right away? These consultants at the meeting said you CAN NOT unless you call their consultant and give them the money from the customer in exchange for the make up repleacement. The Mary Kay book did say we can sell to people who need it right away such as events or something but do not recruit them as a team member. I I really think that some consultants tell recruits very SLOW marketing strategies to keep them on the lowe levels so that way the directors can be the first to become sales queen and get the cars at the awards seminar. So I say develop your own marketing strategy you are comfortable with. Another reason I don't like the meetings is because you are always presuured to bring someone in and DRESS UP. I hate to dress professionally. To me it's a reminder of the 9-5 and NO freedom!
