Mary Kay Opinion 62

I personally think a business, no matter what kind, works as hard as you do. My wife has been doing this Mary Kay thing here now for 3 weeks in her spare time (about 10 hours a week). She has made over $300 in profit so far ($600 in sales). I programed her a Database using FileMaker? Pro so ALL of her forms can be completely organized along with product lists, customer contact lists, etc... She also goes to the mall and passes out fliers, business cards, and samples. When she goes to work she passes around her catalogs. And only $40 of orders came from family and people we know. The rest of her orders have come from people who have wanted Mary Kay items and didn't know how to get them or from people who have tried Mary Kay in the past and even some from people who never heard of Mary Kay. I thought this was going to be a total waste of time and money but it has more than paid for itself and with christmas coming up, she has tons of people looking through the catalogs for gifts. My wife only bought the STARTER KIT. She hasn't bought ANY PRODUCTS up front and just places orders over the Mary Kay InTouch

site so there has not been ANY INVESTMENT other than the STARTER KIT and like I said, the sales in 3 weeks now have more than paid for the kit. Oh well... Just came across this web site and thought i'd give my 2 cents on it. =)
