I was recruited into MK over a year ago and have not regretted it a bit. You are not forced to buy inventory, you could have worked your business like an Avon Rep. I think this business is good for women who WANT to work their butt off and hang in there to reap the rewards. My director does not force anyone in her unit to do anything UNLESS they tell her that they, too, would like to be a director, now that's a diffrent story. She will then tell you what you must do (consistent star consultant, having inventory on your shelf) This business works if you work it like a business. You have to have made up in your mind that I own my own business and I am a salesperson...PERIOD There have been so many positive things said about this business even being featured in the Baltimore Sun, positive reviews on More than a Pink Cadillac, etc. Sorry it didn't work for you but maybe it was just not for you, accept that and go on with life.
