The beauty of this career is you can too! This is a hand-holding business, with free training available along each and every path you will choose to take! I look forward to hearing from you and answering any outstanding questions
My whole point of trying to get regular consultants and even regular directors to disclose their profits was to get a real feel for writers on these opinion sites to back up their success stories with financial facts in the form of profits.......I tell you, I have YET to see any confirmation of this. What are YOUR profits Stephanie???? Why does everyone keep pointing to Nationals, Soon-To-Be-Nationals and those who are in less than 1% of MK's population. Sure we can dream and some might get to the top, but not all and to publish someone's check for ONE month out of 12 without also publishing what her expenses were or her other earnings for the rest of the year is not representative of anything except that she had a good month. Are you saying that if all of us work 20 hours a week and are in leadership we can realize this income????????????????? Is that your point?????????????? I want to talk about the 98% of the women in Mary Kay......let's talk about what they make......like Mary Ward said on a previous post, 5,000 was the average earnings......MK provided that statistic while they were part of the public stock market....but now MK is private and do not legally have to disclose this.
I take great exception to women in this business constantly pointing to the few at the top and copy and paste their commission checks......but guess what.....these women have housekeepers, cooks and many assistants and those salaries and benefits which they have to pay as an employer along with taxes are EXPENSES......so do not insult our intelligence and post checks that do not belong to you implying that this is what you can expect for 20 hours of work a week in this business. I find this practice deceptive, very deceptive. Not revealing expenses, but holding this as bait in front of starry eyed consultants is not my idea of being honest.
