It seems that maybe you had misguided Directors or that whoever recruited you was also misinformed. The inventory I have on my shelf will soon be gone and then I'll have to buy more, my product does not collect dust. Maybe if you knew how to better sell the product, something your director should have offered training on, you wouldn't have had your bad experience. The Mary Kay opportunity has been nothing but a blessing to me and my family. I see myself doing this for a long time and I believe in this company. Research the company more, read books on this company and maybe you'll see that what you experienced was not the norm.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. I'm glad you sold down your inventory and continue to sell Mary Kay. I realize that Mary Kay is not for everyone, but you also have to realize that just like every company out there that is run by humans...there are mistakes and errors. Mary Kay is not a perfect company, but it has enormously helped me, a single mother with a young child, to realize her dreams.
