Good for you if you love Mary Kay. I just didn't have the same experience. My Mary kay career was quite shorter than yours, about 3 weeks worth. Anyway, I just don't buy that in only a few hours per week you can truly work the business. I have a full-time job myself and I got more financial reward (albeit paltry) but still i wasn't sinking money into it and breaking even like some people in Mary Kay I've heard whose experience has been that.
I'll be honest- I'm just not one of those self-starters who can manage their own business. I used to be an office manager and felt more comfortable in that role. You know why? Because, I wasn't buying everything from Mary Kay and making little to no profit. If you really believe that you run your own Mary Kay business then you should be making a profit, not Mary Kay dictatng how you should make your money.
Those are my thoughts. I'm getting out of Mary Kay because I just know myself too well. It's not that I don't believe in myself, it's just that I found out that Mary Kay isn't for me (even if my soon to be former sales director doesn't like it).
Good Luck,
Erin B
