  • The claimed savings are "up to 40%" on merchandise purchased from DirectBuy. Let's put the emphasis on "up to", because you know that means they aren't making any savings claim at all.
  • Even taking them at their word that the contractors will provide a savings, there's no assurance of any particular level of savings.
  • The value of having everything come to your door? Huh? I suppose this is true, as long as you pay for somebody to deliver it from the DirectBuy showroom.
  • All of the merchandise is in stock and there's no waiting on backorder? What merchandise are they talking about? The showrooms only have catalogs. Everything (or nearly so) has to be ordered and shipped from the manufacturer. There are many reported complaints about lengthy delays due to backordered merchandise, and even cases where people have ordered merchandise, only to be told later that the manufacturer has stopped making that product.
